Target Audience

The target audience for my film trailer is 15-30 year olds who enjoy mainstream horror, the reason for this age being that my film with be a certificate 15 and also horror is usually more popular with the younger horror audience. I have decided that it will be aimed at a mainstream horror audience as my influences being The Ring, The Grudge and The Orphanage have been so successful and the storyline of my film sticks close to the forms and conventions of a typical mainstream horror film. I also think that it may be better suited to the female audience, the reason for this being that it doesn't contain the blood that films for the male audience have, films like Saw.
